A young woman and her son runaway from their hometown to escape civil war. Nothing is left from the world they knew and the only thing they have is each other.

A young boy in a town in Portugal steals some money and is therefore to be sent to the borstal. His mother do not want to let this happen and runs away with him, trying to get to the capitol Lisboa for hiding there. After some time being on this odyssey, bad things start to happen.—Benjamin Stello
