Íris is a court official and delivers warrants in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. In her daily work, Iris has no decision-making power. She communicates what has been determined by the judges. As a rule, it is negative news that intimately touches people's lives. Iris is a witness to social chaos, but she tries not to get involved with other people's pain. After participating in the eviction of a quilombo, Íris begins to suffer from vision loss, in addition to being tormented by strange nightmares.
