Soap opera's plot is loosely based on play "Heaven can wait" by Harry Segall.

The lives of four people, Paula Terrare, Neném, Guilherme Monteiro Bragança and Flávia ("Pink"), change when they die in a plane crash and death gives them a new chance. They have one year to change their lives, because at the end of that time, one will not survive.—Ana Buckley
