Perpetually misunderstood, Pelopidas, an incurable romantic and impecunious waiter, leads a solitary, hand-to-mouth existence. One day, he answers the phone and becomes enchanted by the soft, melodious voice of sweet Dora: an unknown well-off young woman who claims to be in love with him and wants to arrange an innocent rendezvous. However, poor Pelopidas is utterly unaware that Dora is playing a trick on him. Now, it is too late, and Pelopidas has already fallen for the beautiful temptress who only wants to have fun. But, can Dora look beyond appearance? Is she willing to understand and love the gentle vagabond with a heart of gold?—Nick Riganas
