The role of African American soldiers during the World War II Allied invasion of Normandy.

The June 6th Allied invasion of Normandy was one of the important moments of World War II, but what is less known is the African American role in it. This film profiles the contributions of Black American soldiers for that important victory as veterans tell their stories.
