Five countries. Three friends. One broken heart.
After waiting for forty-five days for a love that will never come back, Rafael cannot deal with the pain of an unexpected and extremely hurtful breakup, so, to heal his broken heart, he decides to travel around the world (Europe and South America) and go spend some quality time with three of his closest friends who have themselves, and for various undisclosed reasons, abandoned their own hometowns and decided to start brand new lives abroad. One of these friends is Julia, a dramatic actor who shares an apartment with a friend of hers in London, England, and who is dealing with existential issues related to the meaning and usefulness of her job at the theater, serious illness in her family back in Brazil and the pressure they are putting on her to convince her to go back home, and whether or not to allow herself to love again. Julia tries her best to make Rafael cheer up a bit so she takes him around the city and to parties and makes sure he gets to meet new people to help him relax and take his mind off of his sorrow. Another of Rafael's pals is Fabio, who is in Portugal and reluctantly and aimlessly attends university while working as a film dubber. He as well is in a predicament about his future and is dealing with personal questions about a man's legacy in life and his love for a girlfriend who is asking him to follow her to Lisbon. The last one of the protagonist's friends is Mayara, an unemployed woman who lives with her boyfriend and his cat in Argentina. It is while staying over at Mayara's apartment that Rafael will eventually breakdown and face his demons for once and for all.
