We hear the starting click, click, click of a roller-coaster, the sound of angrybirds, then open with an grisly overhead, nighttime, post-accident highway scene with emergencyvehicles everywhere; foreboding music. Run credits from spiraled angles of accident. Starting theirday, Billy and Leslie, young star crossed lovers from opposite backgrounds wake to a broken alarmclock flashing "30", but seize the day with coffee, sunshine and lovemaking. MIT grad Max and hisdevout Christian mom Betty set out for Betty's doctor visit in a Chevy Spark. College footballvaledictorian Austin and his girl Sara pack up to head to Busch Gardens with their friend Travis.Troopers, a Fire Chief and a Rookie, start their day too and feel a sense of foreboding.Act 2Billy and Leslie argue over jealousy. On road to Doctor, Betty gives an heirloom watch to Max. Austinand Sara drive to Travis' house; she checks WAZE Fuzzbuster app "ALL CLEAR" it says, so Austin drivesway over speed limit. Fire Chief yells at new Rookie Eric who sprays himself with hose. Billy andLeslie drive a Dodge HELLCAT, drink beer; they pass a deer carcass on road. Max and pain-wrackedBetty at Doctors - given cancer news. Austin and Sara arrive at Travis' then head to Busch Gardens.Troopers having 'too good' a day; see weird lights and a wild turkey carcass. Billy and Leslie arrive atLucy's house; he's ready to fight Hunter. Betty and Max walk past baby nursery, then head tograveyard. At Sara's insistence (and Travis' ridicule) Austin saves a turtle by moving it off the road,then arrive at Busch Gardens. Rookie Eric gets trained boot camp style. Hot fueled Billy takes aswing at Hunter, but Billy's surprise party thrown by Hunter puts him in happy cruise mode. Max andBetty go to the graveyard to her husband's tombstone and pray. "Let's go to the park " she says. AtBusch, Austin, Sara, Travis eat, drink beer, play carnival games and see the wild animals, which Travisteases at every chance. Trooper Tom, bored, pulls over an Old Lady going 30 miles under the limit.She has a "vision" and tells Tom his child is in danger; he calls his wife who saves their infant sonfrom drowning in the pool "I dozed off; if you hadn't called, it would've been too late", she cries. Tomreturns to his car; Old Lady has vanished. Billy's party in full swing; BBQ, beer and booze flow tomusic, dancing. "I came here as a child" Betty says to Max as they get ice cream at a lakeside park,with ducks and geese. "Let's see a movie next!". Trooper Tom checks camera footage: no Old Lady,only 30 seconds of fuzz. Austin, Sara, Travis get on Busch roller-coaster: 'click', 'click' up the first hill.Act 3At Billy's, its bikinis, beer bongs and cannonballs in the pool. Clumsy Eric knocks an angry Chief off atree ladder and loses a lady's cat. As coaster goes down final hill, Austin hit with blue heron in face/hand; Travis splatted with crap. EVENING: Billy's party dissipates; Leslie can't find Billy. Bandaged,Austin leaves Busch with clean Sara, dirty Travis: take off down road. Max and Betty leave movietheater; tired, she lounges in back seat of Spark, they take off. Billy, in Hellcat, finds Leslie: speedaway from party, toss beer cans; just miss a deer. In Austin's car going 80, WAZE app won't work.Betty now sleeps in the back seat. Hellcat blows past Austin at 160; WAZE "30 SECOND DELAY". Theyhear loud wind, see weird lights in sky. WAZE "ACCIDENT AHEAD". They run over debris, see smoke,Hellcat with crumpled front, Spark with mangled rear. Leslie and Billy get out of Hellcat, drink beer,run into woods. Betty 's dead, lying over guard rail. Off work, Eric stumbles onto the scene; he getsout; a big white owl flies over. Trooper Tom sees Billy and Leslie: arrests them. Eric helps Max fromburning Spark; they see a shadow, bright light. Betty's face has a painless smile.
