Web series "3 Mates"is about 3 boys Gurjant Singh, Shivam Sharma and Nikhil who are childhood friends and live together in 3 BHK flat. Flat where even after having 3 rooms, they stay in the same room. So, despite of being childhood friends and staying in same room they three keep on quarreling. Shivam Sharma's interest keeps changing and whenever he steps inside the house he brings along a new interest with himself which Gurjant and Nikhil don't like.In the story Gurjant act like psychiatrist, Nikhil as Antibiotic and Shivam as defective hormones. They are not given such names just like that in the story, they have been given these names because of their action and work.Shivam or we can say defective hormone sometimes start learning music, sometimes writing and sometimes applies for higher studies. Gurjant and Nikhil never have a problem with Shivams hobbies, they have problem with his methods. Methods that neither suit Shivam nor does Gurjant and Nikhil, methods that dominate the money of Gurjant Singh and Nikhil Mehta.There is not much difference between shivam's hobby and his body size in the story, both are just useless. And show shivams and his hobbies rightful place Gurjant and nikkhil work as a team. A team in which Gurjant acts like king and Nikhil as adviser.
