When a political turmoil brings a Romanian prosecutor into the spotlight, she is offered the position of attorney general.

The story of Nina, a young prosecutor played by Corina Moise. Nina, together with her boyfriend, Yuri (Anthony Delon), a film director, is working on developing a screenplay, inspired by a family painting. The political tensions at the end of 2022 bring Nina to public attention, her name being circulated for the position of Prosecutor General of Romania. The appointment to this position depends, however, on Mandovanis (Mickey Rourke), Secretary of State of the American Government, and Nicoletta Delalachiessa (Elisabetta Pellini), representative of the European Commission. Meetings with them turn into a veritable exam, which, doubled by the artistic pursuits and the love relationship with Yuri, reveals to Nina the face of the society in which she lives.
