Franny is 7 years old. Franny's mother's new boyfriend is 26 year old Nico.To be with Franny's Mom, Nico has to win Franny's heart. Nico is trying to be a film maker but couldn't even finish his graduation film. The first time they meet, Franny finds Nico in her mother's bed. 10% My Child is a feature film for two character in one city, Tel Aviv. Throughout the movie only the two characters of Franny and Nico appear on screen, and the framing of their story is only understood from within their encounters. In the last few years, more and more children grow up in a new family. Similarly, more and more adults find themselves in relationships with people who already have children. Are these their children? Half their children? Or maybe just 10% theirs?
Today, this reality barely has any cinematic representation. 10% My Child presents this reality with all its moments of magic and melancholy.
