When Alice is invited to spend a week with her boyfriend and his friends in the country side, she discovers their secret tradition and becomes haunted by a past loss.
Alice has always blamed herself for her brother's death. As she is beginning to recover, her boyfriend Lucas invites her to his friend's country house for a week. She quickly discovers that the friends carry out a secret tradition of listening to an old record containing a certain combination of frequencies that unlock dreamlike visions of the listener's deepest desires. She is instantly horrified, fearing she has been drugged, or worse. As she begins to understand, however, she decides to use her visions as a way to reconnect with her brother Theo. Alice falls deeper and deeper into the world of her visions, craving them more and more, only to become haunted by her brother. Meanwhile, Alice develops a trusting relationship with the group's ringleader, the charismatic and powerful Ezra. Her boyfriend becomes jealous, straining their relationship. As all of this unfolds, reality and vision mix and blur. Who can be trusted to know what is real and what is not? How objective is the camera?
