The two families have to meet again during the Day of the Dead to attend the funeral of the person who stole all their money.

Lidia and Manuel are trying to live their professional lives and to keep the romance alive. But Francisco, Manuel's father, moved in with them. Lidia is doing very good at her job. So much that she gets a promotion which means moving to Monterrey, away from both families. On the other hand, Manuel's beer business is not moving forward and is close to failure. Especially Rosa, who deals with her husband's memory while trying to find a place for Jaime in her house and life.
