Synopsis

Chris Vander Kaay is the creator and host of "Put It Out There," a motivational YouTube series that has nearly no followers. Chris is passionate and dedicated, and he desperately wants to be an influencer, but he doesn't have the clout, connections, or cash to make it happen. He is in his mid-40s, and the clock is ticking.

While attending a business conference, a business card slipped under his door leads to a consultation with a mysterious consultant/coach named Bram Turnket. Bram's advice is blunt and surprising: be painfully honest with your viewers about who you are, what you actually have right now, and what you want, then you'll start to see positive changes.

Chris takes the advice, and it works instantly. Chris' life and YouTube channel take a turn for the better. His follower count rises considerably and he gets the consulting gig he has always dreamed about. Other changes seem even more miraculous, like a brand new home and an easy solution to the dental problems that have plagued him for years.

But as Chris continues using Bram's advice, some of the good changes hide dark secrets. Eventually, Chris discovers that there is something dangerous, secret, and possibly supernatural about Bram and his advice.

Trapped by circumstances beyond his control, Chris has no choice but to try and find Bram, who he has only ever spoken to virtually, and confront him about the increasingly bizarre and hostile changes that are ruining his life. When Chris finds Bram, the confrontation is nothing he could have foreseen, and it will change his life forever.
