Eight very different people are looking for a treasure on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean.

The perfect plan to make money for the three fools Bruto, Neto and Remigutis goes a long way. While Bruto and Neto, captured by Alexander, a businessman of dubious reputation, and fighting for a living, Remigutis bursts into his hometown.

A murder in Paris kicks off the story, where an international man of mystery, colonel Rainer Sarmo aka "Kuollut mies" (The Dead Man), investigates death threats against four consuls in Finland of imaginary Central American states.

Maxime is the best detective of a French agency. She is always very busy driving many investigations at one time. She divorced 15 years before, when she got the job. During an investigation she finds her son, who had not seen since he was a baby, so she begins to have memories of her past life that she belived forgotten. Another investigation leads her to discover dirty bussiness of her ex-husband.

Romeo and Juliet - a couple that has a very odd perception of their relationship. They decide to buy a loft situated in a run-down factory. Somenone already lives there. The deranged owner of the factory, and his buddy, the real-estate agent, have been living an exciting life of capturing and torturing young and innocent couples. Too bad Romeo and Juliet are everything but docile victims!

Roop returns from his vacation to find his wife, son and daughter missing and being held captive by a mysterious man. The only way he can find the whereabouts are his family is by working with serial killer Mungo Joon.
