Radúz (Jan Tríska), the son of a Magurian king, has lost his way hunting in the territory of the Tatra King Stojmír (Jirí Adamíra). He learns from his loyal servant Radovid (Vladimír Ráz) the reason behind the two countries' conflict. When Radúz's mother Nyola married his father, the rejected wooer Stojmír married the evil Princess Runa. Runa (Jaroslava Adamová) out of jealousy continually incites hatred for Maguria. Radúz and Radovid have only just crossed the border when an army commanded by Runa detains them. The white deer that Radúz has killed belongs to the youngest of Stojmír's three daughters, the beautiful and delicate Mahulena (Magda Vásáryová).

After four of his men have been poisoned by Joe Lang ('Carl Mathews' )qv)), a member of a land-grabbing outlaw gang led secretly by town boss Carson (Leonard Penn), rancher Mark Jones (Steve Clark) beds his herd on Six Gun Mesa just outside of town. Lang stampedes the cattle and Jones and all of his cowhands are killed. Carson implicates and frames ranch foreman Dave Emmett (Riley Hill) for the crimes, and Dave's friends, Johnny Mack (Johnny Mack Brown) and Whiskey Evans (Milburn Morante), set out to prove his innocence.

After her mother is suddenly hospitalized because she has terminal cancer Sakiko returns to her home town Tokushima at the foot of Mt. Bizan. The relationship between mother and daughter isn't good but still she nurses her mother at her sickbed. She always thought her mother was a cold person until her mother gives her a box full of love letters from her father who she never knew and she starts to understand her mother better. Her mothers last wish is to see the Awa Odori festival for the last time before she dies.

A small village in the valley, where young people traditionally go to work in overseas countries. Gligor also intended to leave several times, but changed his mind at the last moment. This time, he was determined to finally go to Canada. On his way, the love of a village woman prevented him.

On a train bound for New York, where she hopes to find work, Honey McNeil captures the appreciative eye of William Ogden, a financier, who offers her a job. At the apartment of her married sister, Jane, Honey renews her acquaintance with Sara Foote, now a worldly New Yorker secretly jealous of Jane. Honey is disappointed when young architect Harvey Gibbs brings her home from an unspectacular evening, and she declines his numerous proposals. Ogden, already married, is also rejected by Honey, despite the luxury he offers her. Don Kendall, in conspiracy with Sara, tries to obtain love letters Ogden has written Honey, so as to blackmail him, and her refusal to give them up causes him to beat her brutally. Realizing that Ogden does not love her, Honey dismisses Gibbs, who doubts her. Jane leaves her husband and elopes with Don. Honey is ultimately united with Gibbs, who wins a prize for designing a church.
