Summary After being asked to leave by his sister-in-law, Kadvi, Gora, a clay-potter by profession and an ardent devotee of Bhagwan Shri Kishan (Vithal), leaves the family home with his wife Ganga. They soon give birth to a son, Nandlal, but tragedy visits them after Gora inadvertently stomps his son to death under his feet.
