Summary "Andes: Peru" is a tour throughout Peru. It includes 5 independent as following: "Matte de Coca" (31 min) brings the viewer to Cusco, the old capital of the Inca empire, Tahuatinsuyo where we visit the colonial churches, its charming squares, and the temple Coricancha. Further, we climb on top of one of the surrounding hills and we visit the old citadel of Sacsayhuaman and continue in two other sites around the city, Puca Pucara, and Tambo Machai. "Urubamba" (25 min) brings the viewer to the sacred valley of the Inca, Urubamba, that we follow to Pisac, where we mingle with locals at the Sunday market. We continue the visit to the steep terraces of Ollantaytambo and Chincero, another picturesque market. "Machu Picchu" (46 min) brings the viewer in this fabled Inca city located deep into the jungle. We start a 2-day hike in the middle of the Inca trail and ascend first to Huyna Huayna and Intipata continuing the next day at dawn to explore Machu Picchu. We finish with a hike up to Huayna Picchu from where we can have a splendid view over the entire city. "Floating on Titicaca" (28 min) brings the viewer to Lake Titicaca, the highest elevated navigable lake in the world where we visit totora-made Uros Islands and Taquile Island that preserves remarkable customs in dress and traditions. From there we go to visit the pre-Inca ruins of Silustani, the old necropolis of Tiahuanaco that has unique cylindrical funerary tombs. "Conquistadors" (31 min) brings the viewer to Arequipa where we visit its white cathedral and the famous Convento de Santa Catalina. Further, we go to Lima, Peru's capital, where we visit the cathedral, housing the tomb of Francisco Pizzaro, the adventurer that changed the history of the Inca Empire and entire South America.
