Two teenage friends, Jake and Paige, flee to the idyllic coastal town of Belair to escape vengeful drug dealers after a heist gone wrong. After the dealers find them, Jake teams up with the town's laid-back stoner, Shaun, to return the stolen drugs in a desperate bid for redemption and safety.

Hannah - herself not immune to Alfons' charm - gets caught up in a whirlwind of events that threatens to overwhelm her, who is otherwise always up to date with what is happening. Suddenly she finds herself in the position of Margot's confidante, whose doubts about Alfons' loyalty she should talk her out of. Torn between affection for her boss and growing sympathy for Margot, loyal Hannah can only cry to her neighbor and favorite host, Carl Valentin. But it comes as it must: Alfons is caught red-handed and loses both his wife and his lover. And what's even worse - Hannah also flees from Alfons over the mountain.
