Vater braucht eine Frau

Vater braucht eine Frau

The successful lawyer Dr. Frank Neu rather with the left. His four teenage children also value their Daddy Cool because, as a single father, he keeps things to himself and doesn't cause any unnecessary stress. Only when the entire kindergarten regularly arrives for Benny's birthday does Frank see his housekeeper on the verge of a nervous breakdown. But there is a solution to such problems, and it's called Verena. After a short time, Verena is the soul of the house: she finds a connection to Frank's rascals Felix and Thomas, the teenager Saskia also appreciates the teacher, and Benny loves her anyway. But Verena is not a substitute for her mother, who died eight years ago. That's why the four chaos kids decide without further ado to look for a tailor-made woman for their father via the Internet personal advert ("The Internet is full of lonely women"). They have no idea that Frank has already found the woman of his dreams over a beer with his business partner Peter ". Her name is Steffi, she is incredibly pretty and also creates that certain heart pounding. But how will the professionally independent, sought-after photographer react to the four children? And how will Frank survive the gathering of widows willing to marry, who, with a rose in their buttonhole, all wait together in the senior citizens' café for the coveted lawyer? And who is the other man with whom Steffi disappears into the hotel room? - lots of questions to which there is a guaranteed funny answer at the end. "Father needs a woman" is a snappy, lively and dialogue-strong comedy with a stunningly charming Peter Lohmeyer, who is not coincidentally privately also a father of four children. The humorously shaded supporting roles are also excellently cast with Ursula Karven, August Zirner and Sonsee Neu. And if the high-speed relationship carousel comes to a standstill, there are three (almost) marriages and guaranteed no death.
