Abu Halmoos

Summary Shahatah Effendi works as an accountant in a bird shop, which makes him a critic of his work and his life. He bears the shop owner because he does not have other work until he receives a letter carrying the news of acceptance in a new job as an accountant in endowment property. He discovers that the endowment manager manipulates the accounts, and uses his talents to cover his thefts. Shahatah comes to know the manager's daughter and falls in her love, but she mocks his love while she is connected to another employee who works for her father. However, when she asked him for marriage, he gave up and did not have the courage to approach her father about marriage. The manager's daughter plans to marry Shahatah while maintaining her relationship with the other employee. It happens that a dancer claims that she has a child from manager's son and leaves the child to him and everyone knows that there is a child called "Halmoos" and without knowing his mother or father. The manager's daughter exploits this event and is claims to be the child's mother from Shahatah. Shahatah is surprised by this Halmoos. When the manager objects to this marriage, Shahatah reminds him of the endowment thefts and falsifying the accounts. The father is forced to agree to the marriage, but the manager's daughter tells Shahatah Effendi the truth and he affects by that and feels how cheap he is for her and everybody. Days go by and Shahatah Effendi becomes rich through the lottery and the treatment of the manager's family changes for him, as the manager's daughter loves him and agrees to marry him.
