A Nos Amours

Director Paul Saltzman returns to India as he reminiscences his time with the Beatles while they were on a spiritual retreat under the mentorship of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1968.

The COVID-19 pandemic affected the last few months of the school year 2019/2020 at Danvik Folkehøgskole in Drammen, Norway, as illustrated in this video with students attending digital classes on Zoom. This heartfelt goodbye tribute was made for the very end of the school year, after the lockdown had already kept the students apart, before an uncertain summer and future ahead. It features a calm acoustic rendition of The Weeknd's hit song "Blinding Lights", a much listened-to song during the school year, as performed by a few of the students, faculty, and staff at the school.

A live Metallica concert backed by a 80 piece symphony orchestra, conducted by Michael Kamen. Two songs are debuted, "- Human" and "No Leaf Clover". A documentary is included. It also was released on audio CD.

In 2003, British glam rockers The Darkness took the world by storm with their hit single "I Believe In A Thing Called Love". Then at the height of their fame, the band split up and fell into obscurity. 20 years on, they tell their story.

As a hall fills with performers, a narrator says that flamenco came from Andalucia, a mix of Greek psalms, Mozarabic dirges, Castillian ballads, Jewish laments, Gregorian chants, African rhythms, and Iranian and Romany melodies. The film presents thirteen rhythms of flamenco, each with song, guitar, and dance: the up-tempo bularías, a brooding farruca, an anguished martinete, and a satiric fandango de huelva. There are tangos, a taranta, alegrías, siguiriyas, soleás, a guajira of patrician women, a petenera about a sentence to death, villancicos, and a final rumba. Families present numbers, both festive and fierce. The camera and the other performers are the only audience.
