Z Gliwic do Paryza. Wojtek Pszoniak

Summary A fictionalized documentary about the artistic path of Wojciech Pszoniak. The journey through the life of one of the most outstanding Polish actors begins with the hero of the film himself, standing by the radio station tower in Gliwice, where he was raised and grew up. The tall structure always reminded him of the Eiffel Tower, but at that time he could not have known that he would spend his adult life in Paris. The camera moves from Gliwice to the city on the Seine, where the actor settled permanently in the 1980s. We meet him in the famous Montparnasse, a favorite place in Paris not only of our famous compatriot. The greatest personalities from the world of art frequented the nearby bistro, including: Picasso, Matisse, Hemingway, Scott Fitzgerald and actors Claude Brasseur and Michele Piccoli, Wojciech Pszoniak also comes here. The restaurant is located near the theater where he performed. He recalls the play "The Shop on the Street Corner", performed for two years to a full audience, in which he and his French colleagues played as many as 484 times. View more details
