Sheng, Xi's husband, had a throat incision due to severe myelitis and depends on a resuscitator to survive. Sheng is dying while the resuscitator being built, each and every villager, including Zhuzi, Fugui, Chief and Sheng's mother, has been weighing the pros and cons of helping others .
