Summary In 1900 London, there were recordings of killings that had resembled the killings of Jack the Ripper; he struck 12 years prior. Several detectives within Scotland Yard and of whom had been on the case of the Ripper many years prior, were the only ones of knowledge to this new set of killings. The story follows a history professor,James Whitfield , his wife, friends and family, around the time of these secretive murders.
