Summary Jayvon "JJ" Walker (20) is a young man trying hard to be the glue that holds his family together. The baby of five siblings, and everyone's favorite, JJ sets out on a mission to get the Walker family together for their grandmother, Berniece "Granny" Walker's 70th birthday. However, he's met with a challenge at every turn. Some family members have a long-standing beef, while others deal with external life circumstances that make it difficult for everyone to put their differences aside and come together. One by one JJ visits with each of his siblings and compels them to make an appearance at the party. Ultimately, they all agree and the night is full of explosions, with one family fire after another. Disappointed and devastated that party plans have gone up in smoke, Granny scolds her family for wasting JJ's efforts. Granny reminds her flock that they are still family no matter what and need to hold on to each other for as long as possible.
