The film tells the story of the friendship between two men who live their lives through movies. One is a director who is having trouble connecting with his children; the other is a screenwriter and playwright who is having trouble with his wife. They're working on a film together about growing old and connecting with the younger generation.

A back to back treatment of a malaise which has shocked Philippine society for the past so many years: the mysterious killings and disappearances of filipino journalists and activists. The film focuses on the hard-hitting radio commentator and his conflict with a former classmate who is a suburban town mayor. The radioman's story runs parallel to the tale of a student activist on the run with his activist girlfriend. These parallel stories are interwoven with a third story, that of a former military man, now their would be assassin. Barcelona, 1967. Hans Fromm, a German-born architect, lives an well-ordered everyday life. He has become the target of an antifascist death squad though. Indeed their leader, Julius, whose brother was killed by Schmidt, a merciless S.S., believes, without being absolutely certain, that Fromm and Schmidt are the same man. The team, whose other members are Georges, the son of a deportee liquidated by Schmidt craving for action, Raphaël, a mercenary type, Nils, the photographer and Romain, watch Fromm's every move until Julius, convinced at last that the quiet German is their man, gives the green light for the operation. They manage to lure the former Nazi to an old house but Schmidt/Fromm won't let himself be captured so easily...

About a woman named Fazilet, who lives with a rich family as a handmaid, undergoing a change of identity in her imaginary world with the frustration brought by her social status.
