Christine is a poor young waitress raised with love and care by her mother, Toyang. Michi finds solace after confiding in her senior co-worker and boss Niina Makoto, who is surprisingly in a similar situation with his wife Kaede. He has a brilliant work ethic and has many fans around the workplace due to his handsome face. His wife Kaede has just become the deputy editor of a fashion magazine. She spends her days sacrificing her private life to focus on her work. Michi and Makoto end up bonding over their shared pain and give advice and support to one another. Both grow closer in their wish to salvage their own marriages, but is there any remaining passion left to reignite?
