Henry got addicted to opioids after a sports injury at school. He was on the football team, which resulted in him being injured during a practice. The doctor prescribed him the medication in his junior year in high school. Henry was expelled halfway through his freshman year of college after failing to attend classes and substance use in his dormitory. After the expulsion, Henry moved home where his drug use increased, leading to a DUI. Henry is undergoing court mandated treatment at the substance use facility. Henry started abusing them for the social aspect of drug use and was no longer spending as much time with his team mates, so he started spending more time with people interested in trying the painkillers he was prescribed.
