Beets and Beans: Living and Dying with Hospice attempts to dispel some myths abut what it means to work with a Hospice provider. The video interweaves the rich journey of patients, caregivers, and family members, at different points in their interactions with Hospice services as their lives are touched by Hospice. The story of Hospice is everyone's story. The documentary features a diverse cast of all ages, interviewed in their homes or Hospice settings. Moving and credible interviews supported by true life events show that the Hospice movement can revolutionize our views of dying. While making the documentary, producer Sue Perlgut became a volunteer at her local Hospice. Her surprising journey is part of this video.

Recounting the stories of a few fans, STANDARD brings the idea of transmission alive, the need and proud feeling of belonging to something indestructible, something that will be perpetuated for generations, so that the spirit of the Standard Club continues to soar above the stadium.

For years after the original project, people constantly asked the Director, Robert, 'how is your father?' This film answers that question and opens up many more. This is part two of six of an anthropological series, in the vein of 7up, with the next four films coming out every five years. It looks at life, death, Parkinson's disease, baseball and fatherhood through the eyes of Dan and Robert Cochrane.
