A woman has an affair with her personal trainer before her wedding. She attempts to end it, but he refuses to let the relationship go.
Russia during the Pogrom. a Jewish innkeeper and his pregnant wife are threatened by their former servant Georg, who wants to kill them both at Easter. After the authorities refuse to help, he decides to defend himself and lynch Georg.
When their factory is closed down, some irreducible people stay to live in the factory city where they've been spending all their lives. Some of them also keep going to work, to repair the machinery.
