Summary After an unsuccessful attempt to get pregnant, Taya and her husband Vasiliy go on vacation to his homeland, a Bashkir village. At a family celebration, Taya helps a local resident, Evdokiya, who turns out to be a witch. Soon they meet again - Taya asks Evdokiya to save Vasiliy, who was seriously wounded while hunting. However, the witch herself has one foot in the next world. Before her death, she manages to pass on her power to the girl so that it does not fall into the hands of the evil sorcerer Sikhyrsy.
