Männer sind zum Abgewöhnen

Männer sind zum Abgewöhnen

36-year-old music and movement therapist Marlene Hagedorn has pretty much closed with the "man" species after two failed partnerships. She's not unhappy about it. Because Marlene feels completely fulfilled by her job and the sometimes chaotic domestic life with her three daughters, 18-year-old Nadja, 13-year-old Miriam and little Cilli. When Marlene's mother dies, the clan of women moves into an inherited semi-detached house with a garden and shed. The busy, musically talented girls immediately enthusiastically took possession of the premises. Everything could be perfect. If it weren't for the neighbor Henri Schaaf, who has also just moved in, a composer who is in a creative crisis after the death of his brother and partner Frank. The musician has qualities that are rare in men: he is sensitive, has a flair for beauty - and would never think of leaving his dirty socks lying around. But the upcoming premiere of his musical, which is still missing the top hit, puts Henri under stress. Every expression of the Hagedorn family seems to get on his nerves: Cilli's uninvited visits, the rehearsals that Nadja organizes with her band in the shed, Miriam's ballet exercises. When Marlene also became self-employed and was planning to open a practice in her part of the house, a series of misunderstandings and arguments ensued between her and Henri. Only Cilli and Henri's caring mother can't be dissuaded from the idea that the two would actually be a wonderful couple.
