Three Americans are captured and held as political prisoners by the Iranian government.

Tong Phuoc Phuc operates an orphanage in Nha Trang, central Viet Nam. He persuades expectant mothers from aborting with the promise of care and shelter. Operated as a sort of halfway house, unwed mothers living at the orphanage must care for the many young resident children until giving birth. Tong wishes to leave his mark both as an anti-abortionist and as a saviour to fallen women and their unwanted children. Praised by the country's Prime Minister and the media, Tong's popularity and motives are overshadowed by allegations of profiteering and child neglect. This fly on the wall documentary follows one man's quest and the mothers who care for the orphaned children of Nha Trang.

In 1994, Holly Collins became an international fugitive, hunted by the FBI, for kidnapping her own children. She had been ordered to turn her two children over to live with the father who had been abusing them. Medical evidence of broken bones and domestic abuse just didn't matter to the court. Holly believed she had exhausted all legal options, and had no way out but one to keep her kids safe. Holly and the kids eventually made it to Amsterdam where they spent two years in and refugee camp and then became the first Americans to be granted asylum by the government of the Netherlands on grounds of domestic violence. Today, her now grown children call her their hero.

Produced with occasional nods to bygone film and broadcast looks of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, 'Nameless' endeavors to demonstrate the kinship as well as the differences between Millennials, Gen Xers, and Boomers.
