A dying man has a last request. His request sends his family into disarray as he begins to find solution.

Ana is a former ETA member who lives in a village called Bermillo de Sayago, near the border with Portugal. She works as a veterinary with her friend and fellow Dario. With him, she shares her daily tasks, along with their daughter Amalia. Ana is a woman hidden in herself, but one day she meets José, an attractive man who makes it return to her past since José participated in the dirty war in Spain (GAL) against Basque refugees in France.

After her escape from Algeria in 1967, Adda lives in 17, rue Bleue, Paris, with two children and two sisters. She has a relationship with her boss, who guarantees a comfortable situation for her family. After his death, everything changes.

A woman who fancies herself an aristocrat rejects a potential suitor because he's not of her class and dignity. Also, their adult children have their own drama, a bit inflected with hippie values.
