Summary This program approaches the new reality that both public and private Mexican universities are experiencing at the beginning of the twenty-first century, as they are faced with new challenges that a globalized world with an advanced technological sophistication imposes. Through testimony given by specialists, rectors and educational authorities, professors and students, the program presents a panorama of the efforts being undertaken in order to attend to the ever growing number of students who hope to complete a university degree.
