Summary Trickster Coyote, Lightning Elk is an animation based on a classical music composition by late Canadian composer, Malcolm Forsyth. The music was commissioned by Canadian violinist Tara Louise Montour to showcase her solo talents. The animation depicts stories from North American aboriginal mythological tales. The music is in four movements. The first movement Wenuyaneh is a Mohawk social Dance and tells the story of the aboriginal creation myth. The second movement The Eagle Sees Far follows the free form performance of the violinist. The Bear tells the Mohawk myth of the bear what brings winter and Seven Arrows depicts the warriors of the Mohawk tribe.
