Trap on Fire

Long Beach hipster wannabe Sovanna receives a cryptic letter from Cambodia claiming that her long-lost brother and sister are still alive. Ditching her dead-end lifestyle and alcoholic father, Sovanna travels to her birthplace alone to seek out her two siblings who disappeared during the civil war 20 years earlier. With guidance from a quirky motorbike driver named Munny, Sovanna launches her search into the dark corners of Cambodia. Upon discovering a girl who may or may not be her real sister, Sovanna is ensnared into an increasingly dangerous situation, pitting her in a tug-of-war between her own personal safety, and her compassion for a stranger.

Patrick is gravely ill. His mother, Charlotte, a mambo (voodoo priestess) must admit that she can't heal him. However, she can save his soul by transferring it to another human body so her son can live again. She decides she wants the handsome body of a successful actor at all costs. Charlotte asks her daughter, Shaina, a famous starlet thanks to her mother's magic potion, to seduce Nick and then put a spell on him so she can bring him to the house where Patrick is dying. A race against time and against the forces of evil...

A rich middle aged American woman unexpectedly discovers her true origin after her parents have died. Deeply moved, in the midst of an identity crisis, she decides to travel, hoping to find the natural mother she has never known. She therefore goes to a small and remote place in the south of Italy, Montedoro. She finds an apocalyptic scene when she gets there: the village, resting on a majestic hill, is completely abandoned and nobody seems to live there anymore.

Sumon and Sumona, a happy couple who happen to be childless. Sumon's parents put pressure on him to remarry. One day Sumona fixes an appointment with a gynaecologist. Though the doctor holds out hope, she says that Sumona will not be able to conceive in the natural way. She recommends a 'test tube baby' route. Meanwhile the family goes through a crisis.

A group of new immigrants from China seeks out new life in Hong Kong. The story is about three single women and their community life in the North Point district. The women described in the story are either into insurance brokerage or running maternity hotels. Their different degrees of adjustment and their survival skills are the framework of the film.
