"Town Hall" tells the amazing, inspired by-true-events story of Rick Davis, who in his twenties was being convicted of armed robbery, but who, following an incredible life transformation in his forties, became mayor of the very town where he was arrested, tried, and convicted. Set against the dynamic backdrop of urban South Carolina in both the 1980s and today, this ground-breaking new dramatic series juxtaposes the lives of two characters who are essentially the same person: Young Rick, whose rise in the world of organized crime eventually spelled his downfall, and Mayor Rick Davis, whose new lease on life can only afford so much purchase in the tumultuous world he, in part, helped to create.
