A ruthless pimp tracks his escaped prostitute to an isolated horse ranch in Malibu Canyon, where she is attempting to start a new life as an artist. When he attempts to coerce her into conning the ranch's wealthy owner, her attempt to seek the aid of a ranch hand threatens to yield tragic repercussions.

Koji Akashi's father committed suicide. His father was a whistleblower, involving a large corporation. Koji's family now faces ruin. Kenichi Kitamura works at an orphanage. He approaches Koji. To protect the children, Kenichi does not mind committing crimes. Due to Kenichi, Koji thinks of taking revenge.

The film is an "intersection of fact and hallucination" set inside the decaying walls of the old Ambassador Hotel and the famed Cocoanut Grove restaurant which was home to the 1st Academy Awards.

With the closure of the sugar mill, the little town of Molasses is devastated, lifeless. Aldo and Monica are a young married couple who want to find a way to survive. By supporting each other, they try to save their world without losing their faith.
