Addiction has made 28-year-old Isabella a living hell, and her family is desperate to pull her out of it. Rehab centers are apparently the best option, but she will soon realize that she has to fight in order to gain her freedom.

Pia and Ada, two sisters in their forties, haven't seen one another since their childhood. Today, Ada pays a visit to her sister who lives in a small village in the south of France. During this day we learn of the terrible deed that their mother had committed 35 years ago - Abandoning Ada in order to take care of her sick daughter Pia.
