The story of two country girls who dream of love and freedom while dealing with parents and boyfriends.

Jack, a youth of Arab descent, was forced to continue the shop owned by his father, Wak Dollah. In order to follow the wishes of his father, Jack is willing to study in a department that is not in line with the world of art that he loves. It is almost seven years he studies there and still does not graduate. The atmosphere become increasingly heated when Wak Dollah learns of Jack's closeness with a Chinese girl, Meyling, Halim's only child. He is the famous owner of a Chinese medicine shop in Surabaya.

Robby is a young man who mainly spends his free time at the Milan disco scene.

Young Kitty runs away from home to avoid marrying a man she doesn't love. Her car breaks down on a country road and she meets Robert, a young artist who has just been turned down by a woman he loved madly and is about to commit suicide by lying on the railroad tracks. He sees Kitty in trouble and decides to help her. They get the car running, but it runs out of gas in front of a farmhouse. The farmer, mistakenly believing that the two are married, has them share a bedroom for the night. The next morning Kitty's father shows up looking for her and discovers that she has "spent the night" with a stranger. Complications ensue.

With his father's death, Chandran takes the responsibility of his family along with the debts that his father has left behind. He also has to save his love from getting married to someone else.
