Raw, uncut nature footage of an inexperienced director/star, Nigel, clashing with an impartial crew while attempting to produce his film entry for Nurturing Nature Network's Documentarian Contest.

Sandy and Robert, middle-class African-American siblings from Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, try to revive their depressed mom who, after the untimely death of her sister, has confined herself to the bathroom of their brownstone and refuses to eat. Robert, a 20-yr-old guitar player has missed band practice. At his wits-end, he welcomes his sister Sandy who enters with bags of food. They try everything they know to encourage mom to eat. But it is when the focus shifts away from her and to sibling rivalry, that she come to and gives them a piece of her mind.

Sadie Lucas is having the worst day ever. No, like epically. An overachieving anthropology student, she plans to graduate from college at 7 o'clock tonight, but the hours leading up to the ceremony are the real final exam. Stepping into one calamity after another, Sadie relies on her motley circle of friends help her clean up the day's messes. With mixed emotions about graduating and moving away, Sadie learns that most of the time, the greatest lessons you learn in school are the ones that never get graded.
