Nala (Dias Herlambang) returns to Vancouver to find her father (Roy Rumantir) depressed. To bring her family together, Nala and her sister, Kirana (Pinky Hapsari), attempt to help their grieving father overcome the sorrow of losing his wife. This independent drama brings together elements of Indonesian-Canadian culture. It illustrates the Javanese heritage, with its role as a refuge to the challenges that come with life and loss for the Juono family. Nagasari examines the journey of returning to the roots of your cultural upbringing.

Cherie Bondowe is a melodrama written, produced and directed by Ne Kunda Nlaba, starring: Nina Kabesa (Bondowe), Ne Kunda Nlaba (Massamba), Laurine Mukoko Kunda (Loly Massamba) and Joyce Mukoko Kunda (Princess Massamba). It is inspired by a true story and by Mayaula Mayoni song called Cherie Bondowe from a Congolese Band OK Jazz of Luambo Makiadi Franco. The story is about Bondowe a thirty years old beautiful lady from DR Congo who has lost everything in her life after a huge suicide committed in London by her husband Massamba by setting himself on fire their children because he was hurt, deceived and very angry that the woman he did all too would divorce with him.

Inspired by the Biblical story of the prodigal son, 'A Long Way Off' is a heartfelt drama about a father and the love he has for his two daughters. The story begins on a nostalgic farm home and follows Katie, who struggles with a deep desire for her father's affection. Although she's always obedient, she can't seem to get her father to notice her. Meanwhile, Jessica seems to be the favored child, able to get away with anything, including stealing her father's money and running away. Tension grows between Katie and her father in the quiet house as they must sort through feelings of bitterness and favoritism in order to reach understanding and redemption.
