The Silent Avenger

This is the story from the underbelly of one gritty city and the dirty business it's home to. The price one family has to pay, for being so close to its very core. Jacob Benning is left with no choice but to betray his business partners and do some hard time inside.When he comes home, he discovers his wife gone and his daughter kidnapped, by the very people that put him away. He goes on a vicious rampage of revenge to find his daughter and bring those responsible to justice and a bloody end. Through the barrio and the desert, the blood is in the dust and the writing is on the wall.

By order of his master, Master Li comes down from the mountain to experience the world. Originally, he believed that all demons were cruel and evil. But on his journey, he experiences three events, through which he realizes something. When he sees Black Fish sacrifice her life for her fickle husband, he starts wondering whether demons are evil. Two people, who are deeply attached to each other, are opposed by others. In order to always stay together, they give up their lives and merge into a painting together. Because of this, Master Li completely changes his attitude towards demons. Mr. Kou's second son wants to sacrifice his own life to save and pay back his father. But the clan leader's indifference and cruelty disappoints him. He start to wonder whether it's humans or demons who are evil.

When the seventh shogun, Ietsugu died, shogunate officials chose Yoshimune, Lord of Kishu, to succeed him. Since then Yoshimune has led a double life.In court he remains a dedicated leader, but outside he travels incognito as a wandering swordsman, seeking out crime and corruption. But since he became shogun, many high-placed officials look on with jealousy, and long to destroy him. One such man, Lord Owari, tries to unseat Yoshimune by exposing his mother as a practitioner of an outlaw religion, Christianity, an offense punishable by crucifixion. Will Shogun Yoshimune be able crush the forces of his unseen enemy and expose this wicked scheme; or will he be faced with losing the shogunate, killing his mother with his own hands to save her from the enemy, then face expulsion and ritual suicide? Only his wits, his silent ninja, and his terrible sword can save his government from destruction.
