The Ruins of Empires

Corey and his family grew up listening to their pastor preach about the importance of donating money to the church. But the more they seemed to give, the richer the preacher became. Confused about the church's intentions, Corey decides to take matters into his own hands and investigate how far a man will go before he robs God.

A girl named Kaede Fukino finds out that her dad is having an affair. When she questions her mum about this she gets more than she bargained for. She soon learns that her life has been a lie, her father actually has a different family and she is the result of an affair. Shocked by the news, she consults her friend Hiroshi Hirono who she secretly has a crush on about it and it draws them closer. Hiroshi himself is also struggling with some aspects of his life.

Ravi, a diligent man in his mid-30s, shoulders the responsibility of caring for his ailing grandfather, mentally disabled aunt, and grandmother after his parents' tragic demise. Growing up in a modest household, he learns the value of duty early on. However, as the story progresses, the weight of his responsibilities takes a toll on him. He becomes increasingly isolated, sacrificing his own happiness and relationships to meet the needs of his family. Despite his unwavering dedication, a sudden financial crisis pushes him to his limits. The story ends unexpectedly, leaving viewers to contemplate the complexities of human relationships and the resilience of the human spirit.
