The River

Reya, a beautiful and ambitious woman, is harassed by the Sheng family after their youngest son, Kiatikorn, is sent to seduce and abandon Reya. Reya loses everything and returns to Thailand to find another victim.

November 1967. Hanna Bielska - an aspiring actress - is in a hurry to see "Forefathers' Eve" when a stranger joins her on the way. This is Janek Wolicki. He wants to impress the girl at all costs and gains in her eyes when he brings a typescript of "Dziady" signed by Kazimierz Dejmek himself. Familiarity turns to infatuation. Meanwhile, the young journalist Dunin finds out that his roommate is fired due to his origin. At the same time, Janek appears in the editorial office. Dunin is to take care of him. However, the boy does not hone his journalism skills in his head. Janek and Hanna's romance is getting hotter. An important artifact of their affection becomes a camera, which is a gift for Wolicki from his father. Young love takes on a Shakespearean dimension.

After mediocre reviews and a sudden medical crisis with the in-house director, Jack Robbins (Zack Gold) is forced to push forward as the creative director of the Los Angeles Asteria Theater. In an attempt to bring new life to the Asteria and inspire passion for a new generation of theater goers, he boldly undertakes the task of presenting the play 'Hamlet.' In order to do this, he nervously recruits the only friend he trusts will do the role justice, struggling Shakespeare enthusiast, Dan Connors (Darren Tyler Morgan) . However, with few options and a secret desire to push Dan past recent romantic trauma, he asks his Ex, Chloe Ryan (London Vale) to direct. With Dan unknowing that Chloe will be his boss and Chloe not realizing the hurt and anger Dan is still holding on to, they both agree to try and save the theater. If this isn't already a large enough ticking time bomb, in order to appease the board and raise the theater's profile, Jack hires a young inexperienced teen idol named Michael Johansson, who has a following and ego to boot. With a group of dynamic and crazy characters, it could be the best show ever - or a complete disaster.

The events depict the story of the famous actor Naguib El Rehany since childhood and highlight the human and social aspects of his life, as well as the political events he witnessed, especially the 1919 Revolution, the First and Second World Wars, the Constitution of 1923, and the British occupation of Egypt.
