Summary Soshun Kouchiyama (Shintaro Katsu) of Osukiya-bozu (a tea master who works at the Honmaru in Edo Castle. Although the salary is low, a hereditary direct attendant, and because of his occupation, he can obtain confidential information, so he is respected by the feudal lords) is a small villain who, along with Ushimatsu (Shohei Hino), a pickpocket, and Naojiro Kataoka (Hide), a former vassal of the family, works hard to make money and pickpockets.
