The Pom Pom Diaries

Anna Shumilina is an operative of the Petrovka headquarters: she is almost 30, and she does an excellent job with her work. But she dreams of only one thing - to become an actress. By hook or by crook, she tries to get the main role in the cinema, but so far she is only working on a stuntman and pyrotechnist on the set: this is how she tries to diversify the usual police routine. At work in the organs, Anya often has to make a difficult choice: a destructive sense of humor and optimism helps her in this matter. In everything she tries to be Themis, which sees, but the conflict between Themis and Melpomena does not give her peace.

A wannabe drug dealer finds a few bricks of cocaine and drags his hesitant best friend into the game. Together, they navigate the risky streets, ducking the law and dodging rivals, all while trying to flip their lucky break into dollars.

The story takes place in Tokyo's La Belle Equipe French restaurant where its standard deteriorated after the death of its owner. The son, who is inexperienced in the business, inherits the restaurant and finds himself unable to motivate his staff. Realizing that the quality of the restaurant is not like what it used to be, a determined middle-aged garcon, a good friend of the original owner, decides to help make changes. His mission is to bring back the glory of La Belle Equipe.
