Summary The Path to Liberation follows Egyptian protestors on their march to overthrow their oppressive regime. Named after the famous square they occupied, Tahrir Square, which literally means 'liberation' the film shows how they marched from one part of the city in the face of tear gas, bullets and beatings yet remained largely peaceful and united in their efforts. The story is told almost exclusively using their voices and local musicians. It begins at the start of protests on January 28, 2011 and concludes when they take over Tahrir Square. View more details
