Pilot
Norm and Charlie, a successful gay interracial couple with a progressive view on relationships, are looking to break out of their monogamous relationship. They have their eyes on Janice, their daughter's empathetic and intelligent school counselor. Their teenage daughter, Chloe, has been supportive of her parents' unconventional relationship and admires Janice for her wisdom and care. However, Chloe is also navigating her own emotions, as she finds herself developing a crush on Janice's non-binary child, Chaz, who is around her age.

As the relationship between Norm, Charlie, and Janice begins to deepen, the family is confronted with an unexpected complication-Chaz is severely allergic to their beloved non-binary dachshund, Billie. The dog has been a constant presence in Chloe's life, providing comfort and joy in moments of teenage angst and uncertainty. The allergy presents a significant hurdle; the couple cannot imagine parting with Billie, but they also can't ignore Chaz's well-being.

In an effort to find a solution and perhaps solidify their bond with Janice, Norm and Charlie propose a family trip to Disney World. They hope the magic of the experience will help them all connect on a deeper level and, for a time, distract from the allergy issue. The trip is filled with moments of laughter and bonding-Chloe and Chaz grow closer, sharing secrets and inside jokes, further complicating the emotional landscape. Chloe's crush on Chaz adds another layer of tension, as she wrestles with the possibility that the situation might force her to choose between her family's happiness and her budding feelings.
